I follow this beauty blogger on Instagram, Rosie Connolly-Quinn, who always looks glowing in all her photos and videos. I always wondered what it was that she used; Recently she revealed she uses Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter and swears by it. So I decided to give it a go and see for myself.
I ordered number 3, which is the Light/Medium one. When the package arrived, it was wrapped beautifully and if you know me you’ll know I love beautiful packaging!
The product says you can either use it as a base primer before you apply foundation or, after you’ve applied foundation. Best thing to do is dot along the tops of your cheekbones, down your nose, above your cupid’s bow and anywhere else you want that glow!
Personally, I tried it by applying it before my foundation, but since I use a foundation that leaves your skin looking dewy, it didn’t really make much of a difference.
However, when I applied it as a highlighter on top of my foundation, the results were amazing! I have to say this is hands down, an amazing product! I love it. The glow it gives is incredible and it makes you look so healthy.
My friends were asking me what I had done differently with my makeup that day; so I tried it on one of my friends too and she loved it.
When I found out about this product I started looking into it more and reading more about it. It seems it works for everyone in different ways. Everyone is different and for some people it works better when they apply it before their foundation and for others it works better using it as you would a highlighter.
Personally, I prefer using it as a highlighter as the effects are a lot more visible but either way, I think it’s a product worth the money.
