If you haven’t heard about Dripping Gold Tan by SOSU yet, you don’t know what you’re missing!
I was never really one to use fake tan much. I lived in Greece for the most part of my life so would always get a natural tan during the summer months.
But that all changed when I moved to the UK 4 years ago! Since the summers here as not as hot or as sunny, I would stay fairly pale for most of the year.
I knew a lot of girls who used fake tan but I didn’t like the look of it and was worried I wouldn’t be able to apply it properly myself or that it would leave the colour looking patchy.
Each time I would go on holiday, I would get a spray tan as that would mean it would be done by a professional and would give great results. But that cost money and didn’t give me the natural golden look you get when you sunbathe. It also wouldn’t fade great, which made me feel uncomfortable and ended with me scrubbing for hours in the shower trying to remove it!
This was all until about a year ago when I discovered the SOSU brand by Suzanne Jackson. I liked her products and the way she promoted her brand. The products have a fresh, modern look and I just love everything about the brand!
Around April time, she launched her Dripping Gold Beauty tan. At first I didn’t really think anything of it, but the good reviews kept coming in and everyone was talking about how natural it looks and how it fades so even.
Every day I would go through my Instagram feed and see reviews about Dripping Gold Tan. So I decided to give it a try and ordered the Medium Mouse and Medium Lotion.
It really was so easy to apply and doesn’t have the strong biscuit smell most tans normally have; instead it smelt like perfume. It turned out really even and looked so natural! Even my boyfriend was pleasantly surprised at the fact it didn’t smell and at how even it looked (#bonus points!).
I went to work the next morning and had so many compliments on the colour and how natural it looked.
How to Apply the Dripping Gold Tan Mouse?
I tend to shave the night before and exfoliate in the shower right before I apply the tan.
I then apply it in circular motions all over and what is left on the mitt at the end, I apply that to my hands and feet.
The Medium mouse is quite light. If you want a darker colour, you can apply two layers of the Medium tan or simply buy the darker colours they have (Dark and Ultra Dark).
If I apply one layer of the Medium Mouse, the tan will last about 4 days. If I apply two layers, then it tends to last me about 6-7 days.
If you are looking for a new tanning product I would wholeheartedly recommend Dripping Gold Tan. It is worth the price and the hype and I can guarantee you will get compliments on how it looks! 🙂
